ALSINAH: Journal of Arabic and English Teaching
Brief submission guideline:
1. The journal invites scholars and experts working in all disciplines in Arabic and English Teaching.
2. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
3. The manuscript should be typed in MS document format with Arial, size 11 pts, one and a half-space, A4 paper roughly 2000-8000 words. All manuscripts should be sent to Website: http://ecampus.iainbatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alsinah
4. The article should be written in English and/or Arabic. The title of the article is written in not more than 15 words. The title of the article, the name of its author or authors, email address, and institution are at the top of the article.
5. All submissions must include 100-250 words abstract and 3-5 keywords. The abstract of a research paper should contain at least the title, purpose, method, and research finding.
6. Quotations, passages, and words in local or foreign languages should be translated into English and/or Arabic.
7. Full research papers should have broad relevance and contribute something new to Education. It includes:
- INTRODUCTION: explains the theoretical background, related research, practical applications, and the nature and purpose of the article.
- METHODS: describes research type, the participants, the materials, and the procedures employed in the study such as treatment(s) and data analysis.
- RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Results should be clear and concise. The discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Extensive citations and discussion of published literature should be avoided.
- CONCLUSION: The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a Discussion or Results and discussion section.
8. References: References are listed in alphabetical order. Each listed reference is cited in the text, and Non-research papers include major themes, logical development of the theme, the author's point of view, implications, inferences, or conclusions.

9. All submitted papers are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers.
10. The editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts that are not in accordance with this guideline.
11. All URL addresses in the text are activated.
12. Author of articles published will receive freely one copy of the journal and ten off-prints.
13. The text address the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the OUTLINE, which is found in About the Journal.
14. The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
ONLINE SUBMISSION
The author should fulfill the form as detail as possible where the star marked form must be entered. After all form textbox was filled, the Author clicks on the “Register” button to proceed with the registration. Therefore, the Author is brought to the online author submission interface where Author should click on “New Submission”. The following are five steps in the online submission process:
- Step 1 - STARTING THE SUBMISSION: Select the appropriate section of the journal, i.e. Original Research Articles, Review Article, or Short Communication. Thus, the author must check-mark on the submission checklists.
- Step 2 – UPLOADING THE SUBMISSION: To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse on the Upload submission file item and choose the manuscript document file to be submitted, then click the Upload button.
- Step 3 – ENTERING SUBMISSION’S METADATA: In this step, detailed authors' metadata should be entered including the marked corresponding author. After that, the manuscript title and abstract must be uploaded by copying the text and paste it into the textbox including keywords.
- Step 4 – UPLOADING SUPPLEMENTARY FILES: Supplementary file should be uploaded including Covering/Submission Letter, and Signed Copyright Transfer Agreement Form. Therefore, click on the Browse button, choose the files, and then click on the Upload button.
- Step 5 – CONFIRMING THE SUBMISSION: The author should final check the uploaded manuscript documents in this step. To submit the manuscript to the JIES: Journal of Islamic Education Students, click the Finish Submission buttons after the documents are true. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgment by email and will be able to view the submission’s progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site.
After this submission, the author who submits the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, the Author is able to track his submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. Submission tracking includes the status of the manuscript review and editorial process.
NOTE: It is suggested the use of a reference manager, such as Mendeley.
