The Substance of Gender Equality in the Perspective of Islamic Law and Its Implications before the Law

Islam is a religion that highlights equality between men and women. Men and women are both slaves, caliphs on earth, and receive the primordial covenant. Adam and Eve are both active in the cosmic drama that leads them both out of heaven. Men and women have the potential to optimum performance. Despite this, there are still gender differences. This study attempts to describe the implementation of gender equality from an Islamic perspective using literature/ library studies. The conclusion of this study is that there are relationships in the field of professions, such as the presence of women judges and trigger the birth of legal products that are specific to equality and gender justice.
