This study aims to explore the role of the Pustaka Dua-2 Community Reading Park (TBM) as a socially inclusive space in enhancing children’s literacy in Payakumbuh City. The research problem focuses on how TBM contributes to the development of basic literacy, critical-creative literacy, and family literacy. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, analyzed using the interactive model of Miles et al. (2016). Findings indicate that TBM Pustaka Dua-2 effectively improves children’s reading and writing skills, fosters creative expression through writing and poetry classes, and strengthens parental involvement in literacy activities. Active participation of children and parental support creates an inclusive and sustainable literacy ecosystem. The study confirms that volunteer-based TBMs function not only as reading spaces but also as social laboratories that enhance children’s cognitive, emotional, and social abilities. The conclusion highlights that this TBM model is suitable for replication in other regions to expand children’s literacy access. The study recommends strengthening collaboration between TBMs, schools, and local government to optimize the sustainability and impact of literacy programs.
