Febria Rahim, Siska Febriyanti.S, Rahmat Firdaus, Refika Mastanora, Jean Elikal Marna Copyright (c) 2026 Febria Rahim, Siska Febriyanti.S, Rahmat Firdaus, Refika Mastanora, Jean Elikal Marna https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16186 Tue, 30 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Pendidikan Karakter dalam Pendidikan islam Responsif Gender https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16267
Character education should be implemented in all types of education, especially in Islamic education. Character education in education, including Islamic education, still indicates gender bias. Therefore, there is a need for discussion on gender-responsive character education in Islamic education. This study uses a library study method. The discussion in this study includes character education, character education from the perspective of Islamic education, character education from a gender perspective, and character education in gender-responsive Islamic education. The results of the study suggest that gender-responsive character education in Islamic education at least has the following characteristics and implements: providing equal learning opportunities in character education, avoiding gender stereotypes in character education in Islamic education, and a gender-equitable curriculum and practice of character education in Islamic education.
Yanti Elvita Copyright (c) 2026 Yanti Elvita https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16267 Fri, 23 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Konsep Tazkiyah al-Nafs sebagai Dasar Pendidikan Karakter Peserta Didik: Studi Pemikiran Al-Muhasibi, Ibnu Athaillah, dan Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16285

Abstract :
This study aims to analyze the concept of tazkiyah al-nafs (purification of the soul) as the foundation of Islamic character education through the thoughts of three influential Sufi figures: al-Muhasibi, Ibn Ataillah al-Sakandari and Abdul Qadir al-Jilani. This research employs a library research approach with descriptive-comparative analysis, examining the primary works of these figures as well as interpretations by modern scholars. The findings show that tazkiyah al-nafs in the perspective of these three scholars occupies a fundamental position in shaping Muslim morality and personality. Al-Muhasibi emphasizes introspection through muhasabah, Ibn Ataillah emphasizes transcendental awareness of the Divine Will, while Abdul Qadir al-Jilani highlights the balance between spirituality and social action. Together, their views form a paradigm of character education oriented toward self-purification, self-control, and moral-spiritual empowerment. The implication of this study indicates the need for reorienting modern Islamic education toward a character education model that places tazkiyah al-nafs as its main foundation.

.

Afrizal Afrizal, Rusdy AM, Riki Saputra, Rina Yulitri Copyright (c) 2026 Afrizal Afrizal, Rusdy AM, Riki Saputra, Rina Yulitri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16285 Fri, 30 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Analysis Of Gender Issues In The Dynamics Of Student Social Interaction In The Campus Environment https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16301
This study aims to analyze gender issues in the dynamics of student social interactions on campus. As a multicultural social space, the campus is inseparable from social practices influenced by gender construction, which have implications for interaction patterns, role distribution, and power relations among students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of students actively involved in academic and non-academic activities. The results indicate that student social interactions, both in academic contexts, student organizations, and informal interactions, are still influenced by gender stereotypes that give rise to unequal roles and participation. In social relations, male students typically hold a more dominant position, while female students often face marginalization and participation limitations. Furthermore, we observe the normalization of gender bias, leading to the acceptance of unequal practices in campus life. This study affirms that structural and cultural factors contribute to gender issues in student social interactions. Therefore, we need institutional and educational efforts to foster gender awareness and establish an inclusive and equitable campus environment.
Syaiful Marwan, Sarmen Aris, Ilhami Desrina Copyright (c) 2026 Syaiful Marwan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16301 Thu, 22 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0700 The Role of Pustaka Dua-2 Reading Garden as an Inclusive Space for Enhancing Children's Literacy in Payakumbuh City https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16527
This study aims to explore the role of the Pustaka Dua-2 Community Reading Park (TBM) as a socially inclusive space in enhancing children’s literacy in Payakumbuh City. The research problem focuses on how TBM contributes to the development of basic literacy, critical-creative literacy, and family literacy. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, analyzed using the interactive model of Miles et al. (2016). Findings indicate that TBM Pustaka Dua-2 effectively improves children’s reading and writing skills, fosters creative expression through writing and poetry classes, and strengthens parental involvement in literacy activities. Active participation of children and parental support creates an inclusive and sustainable literacy ecosystem. The study confirms that volunteer-based TBMs function not only as reading spaces but also as social laboratories that enhance children’s cognitive, emotional, and social abilities. The conclusion highlights that this TBM model is suitable for replication in other regions to expand children’s literacy access. The study recommends strengthening collaboration between TBMs, schools, and local government to optimize the sustainability and impact of literacy programs.
Sri Wahyuni, Rika Jufriazia Manita, Millatina Muktharullah Copyright (c) 2026 Sri Wahyuni, Rika Jufriazia Manita, Millatina Muktharullah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/agenda/article/view/16527 Fri, 23 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0700
