Suudfitriahmsuud@gmail.com
Losing a father figure is a traumatic experience that can have a significant impact on children's psychological, emotional and social development. In Islamic boarding schools, the religious-communal environment has the potential to be an adaptive resource that strengthens children's resilience. This study aims to identify the protective factors that support their adaptation process and explore the resilience mechanisms of orphaned santri in dealing with losing a father figure. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, data were obtained through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of six orphaned santri aged 15-18 years in a boarding school in Bantul, Yogyakarta. The analysis was conducted using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach. The results showed that the resilience of santri was formed through seven main dimensions: emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, empathy, self-efficacy, and the ability to reach out. The role of ustadz/ustadzah as a substitute father figure, social support from peers, and the Islamic values-based education system proved to be the main protective factors in building psychological resilience. These findings contribute to developing pesantren-based interventions to support orphans' emotional and social well-being. This study also recommends designing programs or training to improve the overall resilience of santri.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Fitriah M. This failure can be influenced by various factors, including regulatory, health, and administrative. Therefore, this study aims to explore the psychological experiences of pilgrims who failed to depart in 2024 in Semarang City, as well as identify the main factors that led to their failure to depart. This study utilizes a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to uncover the casual factors of the failure to depart, and a quantitative method to examine the impact of the failute to depart. The research subjects were selected through purposive sampling technique, with a total of 20 pilgrims who experienced departure failure as informants. Data related to causal factors were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the phenomenological analysis method. Meanwhile, the psychological impact was collected through the DASS-42 questionnaire. The results showed that the main factors for failure to depart include financial instability, government policies, health problems, shar'i excuses, and personal reasons. The psychological impact felt by pilgrims is depression, disappointment, and stress with normal to very severe levels. This study reveals that failure to go on Hajj has a significant psychological impact on pilgrims. Therefore, psychological assistance and policy improvements are needed so that pilgrims who experience failure still get adequate emotional support.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nurul Mafaza, Abdul Sattar, Abdul Rozaq, Hasyim Hasanah, Kurnia Muhajarahhttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/15594Reinterpreting the Function of Spouse in Marital Harmony in the Contemporary Era: A Hermeneutic Inquiry of Traditional Tafsīr and Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm al-Dīn 2025-07-10T16:42:17+07:00Muhammad Farouq Auni Syafiaunisyafi94@gmail.comKasman Kasmankasman@uinkhas.ac.idFawaiz Fawaizfawaiz@uinkhas.ac.id
The phenomenon of domestic harmony crises in modern society marked by spousal-role dysfunction, rising divorce rates, and disorientation of marital values constitutes an urgent contemporary religious issue that demanding rigorous examination. This study examines the islamic conception of marital harmony through a hermeneutic engagement with classical sources, notably as Imam al-Ghazālī's Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm al-Dīn and exegetical works including Tafsīr al-Tabarī, Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr, and Tafsīr al-Qurṭubī, etc. Classical texts are reinterpreted by employing Gadamerian hermeneutics, within a dialogical framework between historical and social horizons to derive contemporary relevance. The results of the study demonstrate that the core of Islamic Principles sakinah (tranquility), mawaddah (affection), and rahmah (mercy) can be transformed into ethical-spiritual solutions for modern marital challenges, including authority crises, emotional instability, and digital cultural influences. Thus, hermeneutic analysis of classical texts not only revitalizes islamic values but also provides conceptual-practical foundations for establishing equitable, participatory, and transcendent households.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Farouq Auni Syafihttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/15697Transformation of Islamic Education Management in the Digital Age: A Social Study at SMP Nurul Ulama Tenggarang Bondowoso2025-07-10T17:56:42+07:00Muhammad Jangki Dausatjangkidaus97@gmail.comMoh. Education management that was previously conventional is now experiencing a paradigm shift towards digitalization that emphasizes efficiency, transparency, and accountability. This research aims to analyze the form of transformation of Islamic education management in the digital era, focusing on a case study at SMP Nurul Ulama Tenggarang Bondowoso, a secondary level Islamic education institution that has begun to integrate technology in its managerial and academic systems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of digital-based managerial practices. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the management transformation in this school includes the digitalization of administration, the use of online learning platforms, increasing teachers' competence in technology, and strengthening spiritual values in the digital learning process. This transformation is proven to increase the efficiency of management work and the participation of teachers and students in the digital ecosystem, without neglecting the essence of Islamic values which is the spirit of Islamic education. This study suggests that digital transformation be carried out as a whole, with the support of internal regulations, human resource training, and infrastructure strengthening to ensure the sustainability and quality of Islamic education in the digital era.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Jangki Dausathttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16072Religion, Identity and Politics in the Age of Communication and Information Technologies with Emphasis on Iran 2025-12-10T11:04:09+07:00Garinehgr.keshishyan@iau.irRefika Mastanorarefikamastanora@uinmybatusangkar.ac.id
This article examines the concepts of religion, identity, and politics, as well as the concept of digital democracy and its impact on political participation in the information technology age. With the rapid growth of digital technologies and the expansion of online platforms, traditional forms of political participation have undergone fundamental changes that raise fundamental questions about the opportunities and threats to the progress of modern democracy. Opportunities such as increased access, facilitating communication between citizens and the government, greater transparency, and the participation of marginalized groups are examined. The role of technologies such as electronic voting, social media, blockchain, and artificial intelligence in improving democratic processes was considered. However, along with these opportunities, challenges such as the digital divide, the spread of misinformation, security risks, and privacy violations were also analyzed. Successful and unsuccessful case studies of the implementation of digital democracy in different countries, such as electronic voting and constitution writing through online participation, shed light on the practical dimensions of this phenomenon. Finally, the article emphasizes the need for smart policymaking, the development of media literacy, the protection of personal data, and the design of inclusive digital platforms to ensure that religion, culture, and identity are not compromised in the digital age. Continuous innovation, institutional adaptability, and collaboration between government, civil society, and technology companies are among the requirements for a successful transition to an inclusive, transparent, and sustainable digital democracy, although there is still a long way to go.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Garineh, Refika Mastanorahttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16071Development of a Psychosociolinguistics-Based Role Play Model in Arabic Language Learning2025-12-10T11:07:29+07:00Zailani Novianzailani.novian.zn@gmail.comAbdul Munipabdul.munip@uin-suka.ac.id
This study seeks to investigate the current practices in Arabic language instruction and to formulate a role play-based instructional model grounded in a psychosociolinguistic framework, with the objective of enhancing students speaking proficiency (maharah al-kalam). Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, data were gathered through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The participants consisted of Arabic language teachers and junior secondary school students. The findings reveal that instructional activities remain predominantly conventional, characterized by lecture-based delivery and text-centered exercises. Students oral communication skills are notably underdeveloped, primarily due to the absence of communicative and context-driven speaking opportunities. Furthermore, while teachers are generally unfamiliar with the theoretical construct of psychosociolinguistics, they intuitively acknowledge the significance of psychological and social factors in fostering effective language learning. In response to these conditions, a role play instructional model was designed, comprising three integrated stages: preparatory activities (psycholinguistic), role simulation within authentic social contexts (sociolinguistic), and post-activity reflection. This model is deemed pedagogically viable and relevant for broader implementation in Arabic language instruction, particularly in facilitating the development of students speaking competence through interactive, contextualized, and student-centered learning experiences.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Zailani Novian, Abdul Muniphttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16068Literature Review: A Historical Study of Digital Media Da'wah Research as A Religious Movement2025-12-10T10:40:17+07:00Novrizon Marzalnovrizonmarzal@iainbatusangkar.ac.idErni Haryanti erni_hk@uinsgd.ac.id
Digital da'wah has become one of the important phenomena in the world of Islamic da'wah in the modern era. This article explores trends in digital da'wah research in Indonesia through a historical approach, using the garuda.kemdikbud.go.id database for the period 2019-2024. The results of the study show a significant increase in the number of articles discussing digital da'wah, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced a transition from conventional da'wah to digital platforms. Social media such as TikTok and Instagram, as well as podcast formats, have become popular tools for spreading Islamic values, especially among the millennial generation. This study also highlights challenges such as competition with non-religious content and limited digital literacy among da'wah practitioners. However, the opportunities for digital da'wah are vast, enabling personalized messaging and a wide audience reach. With technological advancements like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), the future of digital da'wah is expected to be even brighter. This article makes an important contribution to understanding the transformation of digital da'wah and paves the way for further research.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Novrizon Marzal, Erni Haryanti https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16151Point of Intersection In The Application of The Provision of A Buyer In Good Faith Towards Minangkabau Traditional High Heritage Land2025-12-15T15:01:47+07:00Erwin Radon Ardiyantoerwinradon12@gmail.comRoni Efendironiefendi@uinmybatusangkar.ac.id
Normatively, Indonesian civil law emphasizes the principle of good faith as stipulated in Article 1338 paragraph (3) of the Civil Code and is reinforced by Article 32 paragraph (2) of Government Regulation Number 24 of 1997 and SEMA Number 7 of 2012 and SEMA Number 4 of 2016. These regulations provide legal protection for buyers in good faith, including in the sale and purchase of customary land. However, in reality (das sein), especially in the case of high heritage land in Minangkabau, tensions arise. Traditionally, high heritage land cannot be bought and sold because it is the property of the clan and is passed down from generation to generation. However, the practice of buying and selling still occurs based on the agreement of some clan members, causing conflict when other clan members refuse and take the case to court. The problem of this research is how to apply legal protection for buyers in good faith of high heritage land when faced with the norm of prohibition of buying and selling according to Minangkabau customary law. The research uses a normative juridical method with an approach of statutory regulations, doctrine, and analysis of judicial practices in West Sumatra. The research findings indicate a point of intersection between the principles of protecting buyers in good faith and protecting high-priority ancestral land. Some judges argued that protecting buyers in good faith should be prioritized for legal certainty, while others emphasized that high-priority ancestral land cannot be transferred absolutely because customary law protection must be upheld. Therefore, resolving disputes over the sale and purchase of high-priority ancestral land requires a balance between positive legal certainty and respect for customary law to achieve substantive justice.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Erwin Radon Ardiyanto, Roni Efendi
