Despite increasing awareness of child protection, few studies have integrated Islamic ethical principles into structured digital learning resources for teachers in special education settings. Addressing this gap, this study develops and evaluates an Islamic values-based e-module designed to support teachers in delivering sexual education to students with visual impairments. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The module was validated by a subject-matter expert and a media expert, and its effectiveness was tested with six teachers from special schools (SLB) in Riau Province, Indonesia. The results indicate that the module achieved a feasible level of material validation (79%) and a highly feasible level of media validation (93%). Teachers’ evaluations showed a high level of usefulness (97%), and statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test demonstrated a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding (p = 0.026). Beyond its technical feasibility, the module integrates Islamic moral concepts such as modesty (ḥayā’), self-respect (‘iffah), and bodily responsibility (amānah al-jasad), aligning sexual education with Qur’anic and prophetic guidance. The findings suggest that integrating Islamic pedagogy into digital sexual education resources enhances teachers’ competence while reinforcing ethical and spiritual dimensions of inclusive education. This study contributes theoretically to the discourse on Islamic moral pedagogy and practically to the development of value-based digital innovations in special education contexts.
Irvan Dwi Novaldi Atien Nur Chamidah Copyright (c) 2026 Irvan Dwi Novaldi, Atien Nur Chamidah http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 10 1 1 13 10.31958/jsk.v10i1.16472 Patterns of Sharing Information on Mutual Cooperation between Abandoned Land Management in Rural Areas https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16303
Mutual cooperation (gotong royong) is a social practice that persists in rural communities and plays a crucial role in maintaining solidarity and managing shared interests. The success of communal mutual cooperation activities is inseparable from the communication process, particularly in conveying information to community members. This study aims to examine the patterns of information delivery in communal mutual cooperation activities related to the management of previously abandoned land in rural areas. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through observation and interviews with community leaders and community members. The results indicate that information is delivered through a combination of oral communication, community meetings, informal communication, and the use of simple digital communication media such as WhatsApp groups. Community leaders play a central role as primary communicators, conveying information with a familial and persuasive approach using regional and traditional languages. This information delivery pattern fosters better understanding and increases community member participation in communal mutual cooperation activities. This research demonstrates that communication based on local wisdom plays a crucial role in encouraging community participation and supporting social change at the rural community level.
Misrini Yusra Copyright (c) 2026 Misrini Yusra http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 10 1 14 21 10.31958/jsk.v10i1.16303 Fundamentalist Theology and Social Religious Dynamics: A Study of The FPI Movement in Padang City https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16920
This study examines the relationship between fundamentalist theology and socio-religious dynamics through a study of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) movement in Padang City. Based on the understanding that theology is not only normative but also practical, this study explores how fundamentalist constructions are manifested in the public sphere. The method used is a qualitative approach with sociological-philosophical analysis.

examining the relationship between religious texts, ideological interpretations, and local contexts. The research findings demonstrate that fundamentalism within the FPI movement is not merely an attempt to purify teachings, but also a response to social change, identity tensions, and the need for moral authority. In this context, theology functions as both symbolic legitimacy and an instrument of social mobilization, shaping the relationship between religion and the public sphere. Philosophically, fundamentalism is understood as a dynamic construct born from the dialectic between theological ideals and historical reality. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of a reflective and contextual approach in understanding the phenomenon of religious movements in society.
Rita Handayani Aulia Fahmi Deswita Copyright (c) 2026 Rita Handayani, Aulia Fahmi, Deswita http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 10 1 22 30 10.31958/jsk.v10i1.16920 Analysis of the Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the Public’s Interest in Visiting the Solok City Public Library https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16719
Analysis of the Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the Public’s Interest in Visiting the Solok City Public Library” aims to describe the impact of Artificial Intelligence on visiting interest at the Solok City Public Library, as well as the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping the ways of thinking, feelings, and actions of library users regarding their visits. This study applies DeLone and McLean’s Information Systems Theory and Walgito’s Theory of Perception. The research design used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data sources were obtained from both primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, time triangulation, and technique triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has not shown a direct influence on users’ interest in visiting the Solok City Public Library; rather, AI functions as a supporting tool in the initial information-seeking process. In shaping their ways of thinking, users feel that AI facilitates searching, but they still appreciate the role of the library. From an emotional perspective, they enjoy using AI but continue to verify information through the library. In terms of actions, the use of AI does not reduce their interest in visiting the library, as the library is still regarded as a comprehensive source of information and a place for learning.
Dodi Nofri Yoliadi Wahyu Imamy Putri Copyright (c) 2026 Dodi Nofri Yoliadi, Wahyu Imamy Putri http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 10 1 31 45 10.31958/jsk.v10i1.16719 Development of An Islamic Values Based E-Module for Vocational Culinary Skills on Occupational Safety and Health for Students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16611
This study aims to: (1) develop an Islamic-value based e-module for vocational culinary skills focusing on occupational safety and health (OSH) for students with mild intellectual disabilities; (2) determine the feasibility of the e-module based on expert evaluations; and (3) examine the usefulness and effectiveness of the developed e-module. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Validation was conducted by one subject-matter expert, one media expert, and three teachers. The usefulness and effectiveness trials involved eight students with mild intellectual disabilities at a state special school (SLBN) in Bengkulu City, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results indicate that: (1) the Islamic values–based OSH e-module for culinary vocational skills was successfully developed as a learning resource that emphasizes safety, caution, and responsibility in the workplace, in line with the Islamic principle of safeguarding human life (ḥifẓ al-nafs); (2) feasibility evaluation results showed that the subject-matter expert awarded a score of 97% (“Highly Feasible”), the media expert 83.2% (“Highly Feasible”), and the teachers 92.3%, 94%, and 97%, respectively (all categorized as “Highly Feasible”); and (3) the trial results demonstrated a usefulness level of 94% (“Highly Useful”), along with a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p = 0.011). Therefore, the Islamic values–based OSH e-module for culinary vocational skills is considered feasible, useful, and effective for vocational learning among students with mild intellectual disabilities.
Agmi Almanawara Copyright (c) 2026 Agmi Almanawara http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 10 1 46 57 10.31958/jsk.v10i1.16611 Exceptional Crimes, Codification, and Human Rights: Reconstructing Lex Specialis in Indonesia’s Penal Reform https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/17079
The enactment of Indonesia’s Law No. 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code represents a paradigmatic shift toward a fully codified legal system through an open codification model. While this reform seeks to modernize national criminal law and dismantle the colonial legacy of the Wetboek van Strafrecht, it simultaneously generates a fundamental normative tension concerning the legal status of exceptional crimes traditionally governed by special statutes. This tension raises broader concerns regarding the protection of human rights in the governance of extraordinary crimes, particularly in balancing legal certainty, institutional authority, and the need for exceptional enforcement mechanisms. This article aims to examine whether the incorporation of core offenses such as corruption, terrorism, gross human rights violations, narcotics, and money laundering into Chapter 35 of the new Criminal Code transforms their legal character, enforcement regimes, and human rights implications. Using a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches, this study analyzes the structural consequences of this integration within a broader framework of codification and legal pluralism. The article argues that Chapter 35 does not dilute the exceptional nature of these crimes nor undermine the operation of the lex specialis derogat legi generali principle. Instead, it establishes a layered and hybrid normative framework in which the Criminal Code functions as an internal special regime that systematically interacts with external special laws while preserving institutional authority. This study further proposes a reconceptualization of lex specialis as a multi-dimensional construct encompassing material specificity, differentiated sanctioning regimes, institutional design, and human rights safeguards. By situating Indonesia’s penal reform within broader debates on codification and legal pluralism, this article contributes to comparative discussions on how contemporary legal systems reconcile unified codification with the protection of fundamental rights in addressing exceptional crimes.
Roni Efendi Aria Zurnetti Khairani Copyright (c) 2026 Roni Efendi, Aria Zurnetti, Khairani Khairani http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 10 1 58 75 10.31958/jsk.v10i1.17079 Integration of Participatory Rural Appraisal in Resolution of Waste Management Policy Problems in Pariaman City https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/17091
Urban waste management is often trapped in a linear economic approach and top-down policy implementation, triggering social conflict and policy gaps at the local level. This study aims to analyze waste management issues in Pariaman City, specifically at the South Tungkal Landfill, which operates as an open dumping site, and to model problem-solving through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) interventions. Using qualitative methods with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and PRA instruments with 46 purposive informants from the government, affected communities, and waste bank managers. The results of the study indicate that waste management policy implementation in Pariaman City falls within the symbolic implementation quadrant (high ambiguity, high conflict), characterized by weak enforcement and community resistance. Through the application of PRA techniques (transect walk, matrix ranking, and social mapping), participatory mapping has proven effective in aligning priorities between the government and the community. This intervention shifts the implementation model toward experimental implementation, which encourages collaborative governance. In conclusion, institutionalizing PRA within the regional policy cycle is an absolute prerequisite for reducing conflict and building adaptive waste management.
Mulyadi Lince Magriasti Copyright (c) 2026 Mulyadi, Lince Magriasti http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 10 1 76 85 10.31958/jsk.v10i1.17091 Empowerment of Remaja Mesjid Raya Limo Kaum in Preserving Culture and Historical Values in Tanah Datar Regency https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/alfuad/article/view/16540
This study aims to analyze the role of the youth of Masjid Raya Limo Kaum in preserving the cultural and historical values of Nagari Limo Kaum, Tanah Datar Regency. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this field research utilized observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the mosque youth are actively involved in various preservation activities, including traditional schools, martial arts training, cultural seminars, and the upkeep of the tomb of the mosque's founding figure. Nevertheless, several challenges persist, such as waning interest among young people in mosque-related activities, low appreciation for elders, and the pervasive influence of technological advancements. This study recommends a synergistic integration of tradition and innovation, particularly through the use of social media to introduce historical values to the younger generation. In doing so, it is hoped that local culture can be preserved and made relevant to the present generation.
Beni Putra Hanafi Muhammad Irsyad Iswadi Copyright (c) 2026 Beni Putra Hanafi, Muhammad Irsyad, Iswadi http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 10 1 86 94 10.31958/jsk.v10i1.16540
