The purpose of this discussion is to describe the methods employed by the Family Assistance Team to reduce stunting, explain the challenges faced by the team, and outline the solutions provided by the PMDPPKB Service to overcome these obstacles. The type of research that the author uses is field research using qualitative research methods through a descriptive analysis approach to obtain data from the problems being studied. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are observation, interviews and documentation. This study uses primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, researchers use triangulation of sources and techniques. From the research conducted by researchers in the field, it can be concluded that TPK has five strategic steps to reduce stunting. First, identify stunting targets. Second, the team provides assistance and coaching to families. Third, carry out communication, information, and education (KIE) to convey important information about stunting to targets. Fourth, the team provides additional food and formula milk that is suitable for children who experience stunting. Finally, compile a report on activities and results achieved to be submitted to the PMDPPKB Service. The obstacles found by TPK in the field are divided into two parts. Internal obstacles include lack of understanding of TPK members, poor coordination between TPK members, and lack of training and facilities for TPK members. While the external obstacles are the education of parents of children diagnosed with stunting, parents who do not accept their children being called stunted, and the community who are less concerned about preventing stunting. Furthermore, the PMDPPKB Service provides solutions to the obstacles faced by TPK.
2025-12-18T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Lativa Arsia, Siska Elasta Putri, Iswadi, Zainal Fadri https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/indev/article/view/16073 Empowerment of The Sungai Nonam Palm Oil Farmer Groups in Improving Family’s Economy 2025-12-10T11:12:05+07:00 Rakes Saputra Yasa rakessaputra925@gmail.com Syafriwaldi syafriwaldi@uinmybatusangkar.ac.id
The main problem in this study is the empowerment of Sungai Nonam oil palm farmer group in improving family economy in Nagari Paru, Sijunjung District. The distribution of zakat by BAZNAS (National Amil Zakat Agency), whether for consumptive or productive purposes, is often not fully based on a deep analysis of the mustahik's needs, specifically in Kumango village, Sungai Tarab District. Some of the assistance provided is still short-term (consumptive) and, as a result, has not had a significant impact on transforming the mustahik's economic conditions to be more independent. The data collection for mustahik is not optimal; many mustahik records have not been updated or are based on old databases that do not reflect the current conditions of the poor in Kumango village, Sungai Tarab District. This leads to the zakat distribution being off-target. Limitations in human resources and BAZNAS operational funds also contribute to the slow process of zakat distribution. This research aims to analyze the zakat distribution strategies carried out by BAZNAS in an effort to reduce poverty in kumango village, Sungai Tarab District. The research method is qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the study, conducted directly at the research location, revealed the following: Consumptive zakat strategies are effective for emergency and seasonal needs but have not been able to significantly change the economic conditions of the recipients (mustahik). While this type of zakat can help alleviate the immediate financial burden, its impact is temporary and does not address the root causes of poverty. Productive zakat strategies show potential for poverty reduction, but they require careful planning, strict selection of recipients, and continuous mentoring. The impact of productive zakat is already visible, particularly in the increased income of recipient families. However, there is a need to expand the program and enhance its effectiveness. The main obstacles identified are: Limited funding, Suboptimal mustahik data collection, Insufficient business mentoring, which has led to some businesses not developing well,The limited ability of mustahik to manage assistance productively.
2025-12-25T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Firdaus, Beni Putra Hanafi https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/indev/article/view/16334 The Role of The Nagari-Owned Enterprise Bukik Sakumpo in Improving Community Welfare at Nagari Pasie Laweh, Sungai Tarab District 2025-12-24T10:53:05+07:00 Selvi Hanifa selvihanifa8@gmai.com Irwandi irwandi@uinmybatusangkar.ac.id
The main problem identified is the low and uncertain income levels in this thesis: The Role of the Bukik Sakumpoa Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMNag) in Improving the Welfare of the Pasie Laweh Village Community, Sungai Tarab District.
