https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/indev/article/view/17093

Women’s economic empowerment is a crucial element of sustainable development, particularly in rural areas that rely heavily on informal sectors and creative industries. One strategic approach to empowerment is through the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on traditional crafts. In Solok Selatan Regency, embossed embroidery MSMEs serve as an important medium for enhancing women’s household income while preserving Minangkabau cultural heritage. This research employs a descriptive qualitative field research approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation using both primary and secondary data sources. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that embossed embroidery MSMEs play a significant role in improving women’s skills, income, and economic independence. Embroidery activities not only provide economic benefits but also strengthen social capital, self-confidence, and women’s cultural identity. However, challenges remain, including limited capital, lack of design innovation, and inadequate digital marketing. Therefore, continuous support from government and stakeholders is necessary to ensure the sustainable development of embossed embroidery MSMEs as a model of women’s economic empowerment based on local wisdom
Dewi NadiaIrwandiSiska Elasta PutriSyafriwaldi

2026-06-292026-06-2951110Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) Strategy to Support Community Economic Resilience in Nagari Koto Tuo Lima Puluh Kota
https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/indev/article/view/17092

The main problem in this thesis is how the strategy used in the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) program implemented in Koto Tuo Village, Harau District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, supports community economic resilience. This includes the planning, implementation, and monitoring stages of the BLT program. Furthermore, the problem also focuses on the extent to which the BLT program can improve community economic welfare and encourage empowerment for recipients, as well as the challenges faced during its implementation at the village level. qualitative approach. Qualitative research is based on honest, as-is statements, used to observe the condition of a natural object, for which this research serves as a key instrument. Data collection techniques used are triangulation (combined), data analysis contains qualitative data, and qualitative results emphasize meaning over generalization. From the fieldwork conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) strategy in Koto Tuo Village, Harau District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, has been implemented through planning, implementation, and monitoring stages, involving the village government and local community elements. During the planning stage, BLT recipients were determined through a special village meeting and established criteria to ensure appropriate distribution. BLT implementation followed existing regulations, although several challenges remained, such as budget limitations and beneficiary data collection. Meanwhile, oversight was carried out by the village government and relevant institutions to mitigate potential irregularities in aid distribution. The BLT program has had a positive impact on the economic resilience of recipients, particularly in meeting basic needs and reducing household economic stress. However, in terms of community empowerment, the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) is still temporary and has not yet fully encouraged recipients' economic independence. Key challenges in implementing BLT include limited funding, inaccurate recipient data, and the dependence of some communities on aid. Therefore, a follow-up strategy is needed that combines BLT with economic empowerment programs to achieve sustainable community economic resilience.
Hilda SuryanisMami NofriantiBeni Puta Hanafi

https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/indev/article/view/17519

This study is motivated by the prevalence of domestic violence (DV) cases in Sawahlunto City, which have a significant impact on the psychological condition of the victims. The main objective of this research is to describe the psychological impacts experienced by DV victims and to identify the contributing factors behind the occurrence of such violence. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of the victims’ subjective experiences. The research subjects consisted of four DV victims as primary informants and one neighbor as a supporting informant. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was tested through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that DV victims in Sawahlunto experience psychological impacts in three main aspects. First, the cognitive aspect, manifested in negative self-perceptions, decreased decision-making ability, normalization of violence, and concentration difficulties due to trauma and low self-efficacy. Second, the affective aspect, characterized by prolonged negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, and suppressed anger. Third, the conative aspect, marked by social withdrawal, resignation, difficulties in planning the future, and ambivalence to leave abusive relationships due to fear, stigma, economic dependency, and trauma. This study emphasizes that the psychological impacts of DV not only damage the victims’ mental health but also hinder their recovery process. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for psychological assistance programs and the formulation of domestic violence handling policies at the local level, particularly in Sawahlunto City.
Sabrina SabillaDani Yoselisa

https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/indev/article/view/17518

This study examines the process of internalizing Qur’anic and Hadith values through the wirid and bakolah traditions practiced by the male community in Jorong Pialai, Nagari Balimbing, Tanah Datar Regency. This tradition combines dimensions of religious ritual with the socio-cultural practices of the Minangkabau society rooted in the principle of “Adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi Kitabullah” (Customs based on Islamic law, Islamic law based on the Qur’an). The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with phenomenological and socio-anthropological approaches. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with twelve key informants, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal that the internalization of Qur’anic and Hadith values occurs through three primary mechanisms: (1) habituation through the routine practice of wirid every Monday night, which forms the religious habitus of the congregation; (2) role modeling by religious leaders who serve as exemplars in worship devotion and noble character; and (3) bakolah or traditional oratory that conveys moral-religious messages through local language and cultural expressions. The internalized values encompass sincerity and spiritual tranquility, communal solidarity and Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah), patience and virtuous character (akhlakul karimah), as well as the preservation of tradition and cultural identity. These findings reinforce the argument that local traditions can serve as effective media for vivifying Qur’anic teachings within the socio-cultural context of communities, provided such traditions are grounded in authentic Islamic values.
Dapit AmrilHafizullahCecep Romli
