This research employs a qualitative approach with ethnographic and phenomenological methods. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with five key informants (chairperson of jam’iyah, two active members, religious leader, and representative of Pasuruan Culture and Tourism Agency), and documentation. The findings reveal that Bluk Gebluk was initiated by KH. Zainal Abidin as a medium for Islamic da'wah, developed together with KH. Abdurrasyid, and disseminated by KH. Abdul Hamid before 1924. Since 1950, routine weekly activities have been established and continue to this day. The local wisdom values contained in Bluk Gebluk include religiosity, mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and simplicity. The performance procession involves three functional roles: the main vocalist as spiritual leader, the pillow beater as rhythm keeper, and other members clapping hands as collective participation. Based on UNESCO 2003 criteria and Law Number 5 of 2017 on Cultural Advancement, Bluk Gebluk qualifies as an intangible cultural heritage because it is passed down orally and through direct practice, forms community identity, contains living cultural values, and is still practiced regularly. This study contributes to the documentation and preservation of Nusantara's cultural heritage rich in religious and social meaning.
2026-06-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Adib Fanani, Daroe Iswatiningsih https://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/istinarah/article/view/16767Transformasi Metode Tahfiz Tradisional Menuju Tahfiz Online: Dinamika Penghafalan Al-Qur’an di Era Digital (Studi Etnografi Virtual pada Komunitas Tahfiz Online di Indonesia)2026-04-23T13:49:24+07:00Nana Gustiandananagustianda@stain-madina.ac.idInda Marlinaindamarlina@uinib.ac.idEdriagus Saputraedriagussaputra@stain-madina.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the development of Al-Qur'an memorization through online tahfiz programs as a form of Islamic education innovation in the digital era. This phenomenon shows a shift in Al-Qur'an teaching methods from traditional face-to-face systems to digital learning models that are more flexible and adaptive to technological changes. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation at online tahfiz institutions, and a literature study on the development of digital Islamic education. Data analysis was carried out using reduction, categorization, and thematic interpretation methods to find patterns and dynamics that occur in online tahfiz practices. The results show that the online tahfiz method has a positive impact on increasing accessibility, time flexibility, and the independence of students in memorizing the Qur'an. However, there are several challenges, such as consistency in memorization, emotional interaction with teachers, and quality control of recitation, which is not as intensive as the face-to-face system, because the memorization submission system has become easier through video calls or voice notes. This phenomenon reflects the transformation of Qur'anic education, which combines traditional values with modern technology.
2026-06-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Nana Gustianda, Inda Marlina, Edriagus Saputrahttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/istinarah/article/view/16814Problematika Pembelajaran PAI di Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) sebagai Fenomena Sosial Keagamaan: Studi Kasus di MDTA Ash-Sholihin Karawang2026-05-05T09:01:02+07:00Medi Yulison Arza2210631110141@student.unsika.ac.idAchmad Junaedi Sitikaachmad.junaedi@staff.unsika.ac.idAgus Susilo Saefullahagus.susilo@fai.unsika.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the challenges of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) as a socio-religious phenomenon. This qualitative case study was conducted at MDTA Ash-Sholihin, Karawang. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the headmaster and a classroom teacher, and documentation. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The findings show that IRE learning challenges are influenced by low student participation and learning interest, psychosocial conditions caused by dual learning systems, limited facilities, teacher competence, community perceptions, and low parental involvement. Teachers addressed these challenges through humanistic approaches, religious habituation, moral guidance, and simple learning innovations. The study indicates that the challenges of IRE learning at MDTA are not merely pedagogical issues but also reflect broader socio-religious dynamics that require synergy between educational institutions, families, and communities. This study contributes to Islamic education studies from a socio-religious perspective and offers practical recommendations for developing more contextual and participatory learning approaches.
2026-06-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Medi Yulison Arza, Achmad Junaedi Sitika, Agus Susilo Saefullahhttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/istinarah/article/view/16807Peran Imajinasi Sosiologis dalam Tindakan Sosial Literasi Digital Kritis Mahasiswa Menghadapi Disinformasi Media Sosial2026-04-23T09:49:39+07:00Dalfah Aulia Nisa2290230049@untirta.ac.idYustika Irfani Lindawatiyustikairfani@untirta.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the role of sociological imagination in shaping students ' social actions in the face of disinformation on social media through critical digital literacy. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The Data were collected through in-depth interviews with six students of the Sociology Education Study Program Class 2023 of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using interactive models through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, then interpreted using Max Weber's theory of social action and the concept of sociological imagination Peter L. Berger. The results showed that students' critical digital literacy develops through three main stages, namely exposure to disinformation, reflection and verification processes, and the formation of critical social actions. Students will not only be able to verify, but also be able to understand the social context behind the content received and build critical discussions in academic and social environments. These findings confirm that critical digital literacy is not just a technical skill, but rather a social process that involves reflection, structural awareness, and collective responsibility in dealing with the flow of disinformation in the digital age.
2026-06-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Dalfah Aulia Nisa, Yustika Irfani Lindawatihttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/istinarah/article/view/16864Saprah Amal sebagai Strategi Penggalangan Dana (Fundraising) Filantropi Islam Berbasis Budaya Lokal Masyarakat Banjar2026-05-11T11:49:43+07:00Budi Rahmat Hakimbudi_rh@uin-antasari.ac.idDian May Syifa250211040115@mhs.uin-antasari.ac.idSalwa Nailasalwanaila2605@gmail.comMuhammad Noor Ridanimuhammadnoorridani@gmail.com
The saprah amal and warung amal traditions among the Banjar community in South Kalimantan represent local culture-based fundraising models that integrate values of generosity, mutual cooperation, and social participation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of these cultural fundraising practices and examine them from the perspective of Islamic philanthropy management. This research employs a qualitative approach using interviews, literature studies, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and interpretative conclusion drawing, supported by source triangulation to strengthen the validity of findings. The findings indicate that saprah amal is an indicates effectiveness model for raising socio-religious funds by encouraging collective community participation and generating substantial financial resources for public infrastructure development. Beyond its fundraising function, this tradition also strengthens community social capital through social interaction, solidarity, and collective engagement. The study demonstrates that integrating local cultural values with Islamic philanthropy principles can serve as an adaptive and sustainable alternative model for socio-religious fundraising management. Practically, the findings contribute to the development of local wisdom-based fundraising strategies that may be replicated or adapted in other communities according to their socio-cultural characteristics.
2026-06-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Budi Rahmat Hakim, Dian May Syifa, Salwa Naila, Muhammad Noor Ridanihttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/istinarah/article/view/16923Penguatan Sikap Optimisme dalam Menghadapi Ujian Kesehatan: Kajian Reflektif Autoetnografis berdasarkan QS. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to find patterns of meaning related to self-acceptance, active optimism, and spiritual meaning-making in facing health challenges. The research findings show that internalizing the meaning of the verse lā yukallifullāhu nafsan illā wus‘ahā helps individuals build self-acceptance, foster active optimism in undergoing the treatment process, and form a spiritual meaning towards health tests as a process of self-maturation and strengthening relationships with Allah SWT.
2026-06-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Zaqy Faridatus Sholekhah, Fathur Rohmanhttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/istinarah/article/view/16948Efektivitas Sistem Pengaduan Masyarakat Terintegrasi melalui SP4N-LAPOR! dalam Perspektif Good Governance di Kabupaten Tanah Datar2026-05-13T22:00:20+07:00Dewi Dahlandewidahlan@uinmybatusangkar.ac.idNajla Halifah Syakhiranajla_halifah@gmail.comRezki Ramadhanrezki_ramadhan@gmail.comRika Jufriazia Manitarikajufriaziamanita@uinmybatusangkar.ac.id
This study examines the effectiveness of public complaint services through SP4N-LAPOR! in supporting the implementation of good governance in Tanah Datar Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving local government agencies and community members who used the SP4N-LAPOR! service. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the implementation of SP4N-LAPOR! in Tanah Datar Regency has generally run quite well and has started to support the principles of good governance, particularly in terms of transparency, accountability, public participation, and responsiveness in public services. Most public complaints received an initial response within 1–3 working days through coordination between system administrators and the relevant government agencies. In addition, the presence of a digital complaint service has gradually encouraged greater public participation in expressing aspirations and monitoring public services. However, the implementation of SP4N-LAPOR! still faces several challenges, including limited human resources, less effective coordination among agencies, low levels of digital literacy within the community, and limited transparency regarding the follow-up process of public complaints. This study indicates that the effectiveness of public complaint services is influenced not only by the availability of digital systems, but also by the quality of institutional coordination, transparency of public service information, and the readiness of the community to use digital services.
2026-06-02T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Dewi Dahlan, Najla Halifah Syakhira, Rezki Ramadhan, Rika Jufriazia Manitahttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/istinarah/article/view/16975Ad-Dakhil Al-Tsaqafi dalam Media Sosial: Kritik Penafsiran Rubūbiyyah dan Fāḥisyah berbasis Aṣīl Al-Tafsīr2026-05-15T21:35:18+07:00Muhammad Raffin Althafullayyam.raffin.au1204@gmail.comLukmanul Hakimman89th@uin-suska.ac.idMasyhuri Putramasyhuriumar@gmail.comNixson Nixsonnixson@uin-suska.ac.idRian Akbar Sheva12330210565@students.uin-suska.ac.id
Qur'anic interpretation in the digital era faces a significant challenge from the infiltration of external cultural elements that may distort the meaning of the sacred text. This study aims to identify forms of ad-dakhīl al-tsaqāfī (cultural infiltration) in the interpretation of the concepts of Rubūbiyyah and Fāḥishah circulating on Indonesian social media. Employing a qualitative approach through digital content analysis, the data were collected from content published on the Instagram account @aguskhoirulhuda and compared with Tafsir al-Jalalain and At-Tahrīr wa At-Tanwīr as benchmarks of aṣīl al-tafsīr (authentic Qur’anic interpretation). The findings reveal two major forms of cultural infiltration. First, the interpretation of Rabb as “rupiah” reflects a materialistic and capitalistic reduction of the concept of Rubūbiyyah. Second, the interpretation of al-fāḥishah is influenced by contemporary sexual identity discourse, thereby obscuring the specific context of the Qur’anic verses. Both interpretations deviate from established principles of Arabic linguistics, asbāb al-nuzūl (occasions of revelation), and the authoritative tradition of Qur’anic exegesis. This study contributes to the development of an aṣīl al-tafsīr-based critical framework as an instrument for standardizing digital Qur’anic literacy and safeguarding the authenticity of the Qur’anic message in contemporary digital spaces.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Raffin Althafullayya, Lukmanul Hakim, Masyhuri Putra, Nixson Nixson, Rian Akbar Shevahttps://ejournal.uinmybatusangkar.ac.id/ojs/index.php/istinarah/article/view/16720Evaluasi Penerimaan Aplikasi iSumbar Mambaco Pada Dinas Kearsipan Dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Sumatera Barat 2026-04-23T13:56:11+07:00Dodi Nofri Yoliadidodinofriyoliadi@uinmybatusangkar.ac.idYanti Mulia Rozayantimr@uinmybatusangkar.ac.idSilvia Rahayu Ningsihsilvia_rng@gmail.com
This study evaluates the acceptance of the iSumbar Mambaco application in West Sumatra Province by focusing on two main variables: Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), as well as their influence on Intention to Use (IU) and User Behavior (UB). The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 90 respondents selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique and analyzed using SPSS version 25. The descriptive analysis shows that the mean scores for PU and PEU are 3.24, categorized as good, while IU and UB have a mean score of 3.14, also categorized as good. The Pearson Product Moment correlation test indicates a very strong and positive relationship between PU and IU (0.810) and between PEU and IU (0.815). In addition, strong positive correlations are found between PU and UB (0.755) and PEU and UB (0.795). Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that PU and PEU significantly influence IU with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.687 and UB with an R² of 0.635. These findings indicate that PU and PEU simultaneously explain more than 60% of the variance in IU and UB. Therefore, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use play an important role in enhancing users’ intention and behavior in utilizing the iSumbar Mambaco application as a digital information access platform.
2026-06-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Dodi Nofri Yoliadi, Yanti Mulia Roza, Silvia Rahayu Ningsih
