<p><strong><em>A</em></strong><strong><em>bstract : </em></strong><em>The main issue addressed in this thesis is the da'wah message found in the film Air Mata Di Ujung Sajadah. The objective of this study is to analyze the semiotics present in the film and then examine it from the perspective of da'wah to determine whether or not it conveys a da'wah message. This research uses a qualitative approach with Barthes' semiotic theory. Roland Barthes' semiotics is applied to analyze signs and how these signs work by considering the denotative and connotative systems found in the Scenes of the film. Data validity in this research is ensured through triangulation techniques, comparing the findings with previous studies related to the raised issues. The results of this study indicate that the denotative meaning reflects how the connotative meaning is formed from each analyzed Scene. Based on the research findings, the film Air Mata Di Ujung Sajadah contains many da'wah messages representing the aspects of aqidah (faith), syariah (Islamic law), and akhlak (morality). The da'wah message of aqidah in this film is related to faith in Allah SWT. The da'wah message of syariah in the film includes messages related to worship, such as prayer, making du'a (supplications), reading the Qur'an, and working diligently. The da'wah message of akhlak is conveyed through forgiveness, honesty, respect, love, sacrifice, politeness, mutual help, and sincerity.</em></p>Afriandi AfriandiMarhen Marhen

<p>This study aims to explore Gen Z's perception of Korean dramas, especially those involving celebrities in the Korean series industry. Along with the rapid development of the Korean Wave phenomenon, Korean dramas have become an important part of media consumption, especially for the younger generation who grew up in the digital era. This study focuses on how Gen Z in Batusangkar City views and interacts with Korean dramas, as well as the influence of Korean series celebrities in shaping their perceptions of the culture. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted in the field to observe audience interactions with Korean dramas, while interviews were used to explore individual opinions on how they interpret and respond to messages conveyed through the drama and celebrities. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to describe the views and influence of Korean culture on Gen Z's mindset and behavior. The results of the study show that Gen Z has a strong interest in Korean dramas, which is not only influenced by the storyline, but also by the image of the celebrities who appear in the series. In addition, perceptions of Korean celebrities are also influenced by factors such as internal and external factors. This study provides deeper insight into how Gen Z understands and consumes entertainment media, as well as how Korean celebrities play a role in shaping their perceptions of Korean culture.</p>Andika PratamaAli Nupiah

<p><em>The main problem in this thesis is that relationship catcalling symbol to female student anxiety of Ushuluddin Adab And Da'wah Faculty. The aim of this research is to find out significance level of relationship between catcalling symbol to female student anxiety of Ushuluddin Adab And Da'wah Faculty. The theory used in this research is symbolic interactionism and anxiety, uses a quantitative research methodology with a correlation approach using the product moment correlation significance test comparing rCount with rTable. The data collection technique that the researcher used was through distributing questionnaires to female students from 2021 generation, 2022 generation, 2023 generation Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah with a sampel size of 85 respondents.</em><strong>. </strong><em>The result is that there is a very weak relationship between the catcalling symbol variable and anxiety, where the results obtained from the product moment correlation test obtained a coefficient value of 0.020, indicating a very low relationship value. This means that catcalling symbol does not have a significant relationship with anxiety, however, both variables still have a very weak relationship coefficient. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value is 1.3%, this shows that the relationship between catcalling symbol and anxiety among female students of Ushuluddin Adab And Da'wah Faculty is 1.3%, while 98.7% is influenced by other variables.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><strong> : <em>Anxiety, Catcalling</em> <em>Symbol, Symbolic Interaction Theory</em></strong></p>Rini Puti Intan SuriZafirah Quroatun 'Uyun

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai revitalisasi Surau Lakuak sebagai lembaga dakwah Islam, dapat disimpulkan bahwa revitalisasi ini telah berhasil mengubah persepsi masyarakat terhadap fungsi surau.<div> </div><div>Masyarakat melihat surau tidak hanya sebagai tempat ibadah, tetapi juga sebagai pusat pendidikan agama dan kegiatan sosial. Aktivitas keagamaan seperti shalat berjamaah dan pengajian semakin aktif, mempererat hubungan sosial antarwarga, dan memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran spiritual. Keterlibatan generasi muda dalam kegiatan ini juga menunjukkan relevansi surau dalam mendidik mereka tentang nilai-nilai Islam.</div><div> </div><div>Di sisi lain, beberapa faktor pendukung revitalisasi Surau Lakuak antara lain</div><div>partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan kontribusi perantau serta wali murid. Kerja sama antara masyarakat dan pengurus surau sangat membantu kelancaran program-program tersebut. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi adalah terbatasnya akses jalan dan keterbatasan tenaga pengajar. Meskipun begitu, dengan adanya gotong royong dan donasi yang terus mengalir, masalah ini dapat diatasi. <p>Abstract : This study discusses the editorial team's strategies to improve the<br />quality of news coverage in the *Detak Sumbar* program on Padang TV. The<br />main objective is to understand the strategies implemented by the editorial team<br />and to examine editorial aspects from both the editorial and production teams.<br />The research uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis, and data were<br />collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show<br />that the *Detak Sumbar* production process has implemented editorial strategies<br />based on seven key points, including maintaining broadcast quality, scriptwriting<br />standards, and obtaining up-to-date and informative news. Additionally, sharing<br />program clips through various digital platforms such as STB, YouTube,<br />Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and the Padang TV website is also part of the effort<br />to enhance the quality and reach of the news coverage.<br />Keywords: Program, Detak Sumbar, Reporting</p>Laura Ratu MuliaOktri Permata Lani

<p><em>The main problem in this study is what methods of preaching are displayed in the film Ajari Aku Islam by Deni Pusung according to the methods of preaching contained in the An-Nahl verse 125, namely the bil-hikmah method, mau'izah al hasanah and Mujadalah al-Lati Hiya Ahsan. The purpose of this discussion is to find out how the methods of preaching are displayed in the film Ajari Aku Islam. This type of research is by using qualitative research, where in this research the data analysis approach is carried out with the content analysis method. The techniques used are two, literature study, documentation. The data obtained will later be classified based on the dialogue, to then reduce the data, so that it can be presented and conclusions drawn. Based on the research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that there are fifteen methods of preaching shown in the film Ajari Aku Islam. First, there are six scenes containing the bil-hikmah method in the film Ajari Aku Islam. Second, the mauÔÇÖizah al hasanah method is found in five scenes in the film Ajari Aku Islam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Amanat dalam kitab Barzanji karya Syekh Jafar bin Husin Abdul Karim bin Muhammad Al-Barzanji mengandung ajaran dakwah yang menekankan pentingnya penguatan iman melalui keimanan kepada Allah, malaikat, nabi, dan kecintaan kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW. (2) Amanat dalam kitab Barzanji menekankan pentingnya ibadah seperti shalat, sedekah, dan sedekah yang dapat membentuk akhlak seorang muslim yang bertakwa. (3) Amanat dalam kitab Barzanji menekankan pentingnya meneladani akhlak mulia Nabi Muhammad SAW, seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, dan kasih sayang. <p><em>This thesis aims to increase visitor interest in Alinia Park and Resort and assess the impact of promotions through Instagram. Instagram is widely used for various activities such as entertainment, business, and information seeking. Its global reach has prompted a shift from conventional to modern promotional methods, specifically through social media. Social media promotions influence external factors that shape consumer perceptions of a product, subsequently affecting their buying interest. One of the key advantages of Instagram is the ease with which promotions can be carried out. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method to analyze and describe the data related to the issues being studied. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method used includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The theoretical framework for this research is the marketing mix, focusing on Instagram features. The study reveals that promoting Alinia Park and Resort through Instagram involves various features like Posts, captions, Hashtags, Tags, Likes, Followers, Mentions, Geotags, Instagram Reels, Stories, and Comments. These features support the promotional process by providing information and influencing tourists to visit. Based on observations and interviews with several tourists, Instagram is found to be more effective in increasing visitor interest, as evidenced by statements from the tourists.</em></p>Leni Rayani GoratAndri Maijar
