SOFT COMPETENCE OF ALL TIME EDUCATOR (A STUDY OF MINANG PROVERBS BY YOS MAGEK BAPAYUANG)
Abstract
Nowadays, young generation of Minang people is lulled by new cultures brought by information technology through digital media. As a consequence, they were oblivious their own cultures. It can be seen from how to dress, hang out, speak, walk, all of which have changed greatly from the habits of the Minang people. Indeed, they no longer use figurative language and Minang proverbs that are required with meaning. One way to do so is by applying Minang proverbs as a medium for local cultural inheritance to the young Minang generation. It will give a sigificance contribution for teachers have soft competence, and can compete in the community. The data and information of this paper is through literature study which study the Minangproverbs by Yos Magek Bapayuang.References
