Abstract

Attractive learning will have a major influence in the process of changing the situation in the course. Biology course is one of the subjects whose learning materials are abstract. In health colleges, Biology courses are packed in the form of IDK 3 courses that contain the basic concepts of Microbiology and Parasitology. This course requires a fairly high understanding because the material is learning about bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites that can not be seen directly. The material needs to be developed by lecturers to be easily studied and understood by the students. Therefore, a lecturer should be able to plan, implement, and evaluate learning by taking into account the competence of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. One of the efforts is to develop a learning module that includes a description of Biological material equipped with a skill orientation of the process of science in order to petrify mengkoncritkan abstract things become more easily understood. To develop a learning module must follow the steps of analysis. This stage of analysis in the form of curriculum analysis, needs analysis and analysis of student characteristics, concept analysis. The analysis stage is to know how the need of module, student characteristic, and concept in the development of learning process-oriented skill module of science in biology course for lecture in health college. The method used is descriptive analysis. The result of the analysis indicates that it is necessary to develop science-oriented learning process-oriented module in the biology subject.
