KURIKULUM MULTIKULTURAL DALAM MENGHADAPI ERA GLOBALISASI
Abstract
Globalisasi kehidupan dan kemajuan teknologi menyebabkan batas-batas geografi semakin tidak terasa, kondisi ini juga memunculkan berbagai perubahan nilai-nilai, urbanisasi,dan alkulturasi budaya. Masyarakat yang tidak memanfaatkan  teknologi untuk  kepentingan  positif yang tidak dilandasi oleh nilai-nilai  idiologi bangsa dapat menyebabkan dekadensi moral, serta perubahan nilai-nilai budaya, bahkan juga  memunculkan konflik antar masyarakat, perbedaan status sosial yang tajam, serta berbagai penyakit masyarakat. Kondisi seperti ini perlu diatasi secepatnya agar kehidupan kemasyarakatan yang bernuansa globalisasi tepat guna dapat teruwujud. Agar terealisasinya kehidupan kemasyarakatan tersebut, sekolah perlu mengaplikasikan   kurikulum multikultural.
