KONSTRUKSI MUSLIM KAFFAH DALAM KURIKULUM TERPADU DI SEKOLAH ISLAM TERPADU
Abstract
Manifestasi dimensi pendidikan Islam spektakuler dari kebangkitan Islam di Indonesia
adalah kemunculan Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT). SIT menjadi ikon penguatan
identitas Islam di ranah publik yang berhaluan pembentukan profil lulusan yang
menguasai ilmu keislaman dan ilmu profan. Profil ini popular dengan sebutan muslim
kaffah. Pemikiran tentang kurikulum terpadu (integrated curriculum) di SIT
menawarkan sebuah sistem yang menjanjikan bagi mereka yang mencari alternatif di
tengah kegagalan lembaga pendidikan dalam mengkonstruk muslim kaffah tersebut.
Dalam terminologi SIT, kurikulum ini dikenal dengan kurikulum non dikotomi.
Bangunan kurikulum ini memuat ilmu pengetahuan yang bersumber dari satu kesatuan
ilmu Allah. Karenanya, muatan ilmu keislaman dan profan terpadu dalam bingkai
kurikulum SIT sehingga mampu menampilkan profil hamba dan khalifah Allah di
muka bumi. Muatan kurikulum terpadu berisi mata pelajaran reguler sesuai Standar
Pendidikan BSNP, muatan lokal seperti bahasa Arab, bahasa Inggris, taß©Ñfiß║ô, dan
program pengembangan diri seperti pramuka JSIT, mentoring/ß©Ñalaqah sebagaimana
ditemukan dalam realitas SIT di Sumatera Utara.
