PENGEMBANGAN MODUL FUNGSI MANAJEMEN BERBASIS KONTEKSTUAL UNTUK MAHASISWA IAIN BATUSANGKAR.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop Contextual-based Management Function
(BMF) module, and its usability for IAIN Batusangkar students. The study used the
approach of Borg & Gall and the type of research was R & D (Research and
development) with the following steps: a.) needs analysis of the modules that comprise
the study syllabus, identification, study / library research / literature. B.)Early product
development to establish title, objectives, competencies and construct the module.
C.)Expert validation and revision comprising the products that will be developed.
d)Small group trial knowing the modules usability and these trials to evaluate it as a
base to make revisions. e)Large group trial consisted of 20 students as the development
of a product after a small group trial assessment, so that the module can be used. f).
The final product to be implemented or applied for students. As the results of subject
matter experts analysis, the material composition is not in accordance with the level of
difficulty and sentence there are not appropriate with EYD. According to the designing
expert that the design still needs improvement for image composition not in accordance
with the design / drafting. After testing the results of a large group of subject matter
experts, it was 100% usable, while the designing expert or drafting found it 100%
usable. This means management function module can already be "usable". The results
of interviews with students that using the learning modules are very pleasant, the
material in accordance with the objectives, sample images, enables students, the size of
the text is in conformity with the standards and terms in the module easy to understand,
and has been contextually based. The results expressed all 100 %, meaning that the
modules can already be "usableÔÇØ
