OPTIMIZING THE ROLE OF PARENTS TO INTRODUCE SCIENCE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD

Abstract

Early childhood is the most important phase for the development of the child called the
golden age. At this time, the basic growth will influence and determine the next child
development. Kids at this golden age, spend more time with their parents at home. So it
takes the role of parents in early childhood education. One of the roles that can be
taken by parents is to introduce science in early childhood. The introduction of science
in early childhood can be done by parents with a variety of methods, such as
storytelling science, playing method, and the simple experimental method. Early
childhood that has been introduced science to be trained to think logically and to
respect the environment as one of Allah's creation. So that early childhood learning is
also grateful for the favors of Allah SWT.
