In other words, zakat has a wide impact on society. Zakat stimulates and promotes the development of the real sector economy. Zakat affects income, increases consumption and production, expands employment, fosters investment, and affects other economic activities as a whole. As one of the fiscal policies in Islam, zakat can also help alleviate poverty and cope other social problems associated with financial issues.
