Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the study of Sufism, Tariqah and spirituality. This research uses the library research method or literature study. The data collection technique is done by identifying sources related to the study of Sufism, Tariqah and spirituality, then conducting a study of the sources found, and finally presenting the results related to the research descriptively. The results of this study are that Sufism is a scientific discipline based on Islamic teachings that has the aim of shaping the character and personality of a Muslim to take the insan kamil (perfect human being), which emphasizes spirituality, in certain ways, in this case tariqah has an important role, because in tariqah it discusses the ways or exercises that will be carried out to achieve the goals of Sufism itself. Therefore, it can be concluded that to improve the quality of life, faith and spirituality, what must be done is to get closer to God (Sufism) in certain ways (Tariqah), such is the role of Sufism and Tariqah in improving one's spirituality
