The 2024-2029 Tanah Datar Regency Pilkada becomes an important moment for political parties, especially Islamic parties, to demonstrate their influence and strategies in gaining public support. In this context, the negotiation between the Islamic party and its endorsed candidate becomes crucial and draws attention among the people of the Tanah Datar region. The purpose of this research is to analyze the dynamics of negotiating support from Islamic parties in the context of regional elections. The method used is qualitative analysis with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interviews with party officials, regional head candidates, and political observers. The research results show that support negotiations are based on ideological considerations, mass base, and local interests. Islamic parties tend to choose candidates who align with religious values and have popularity among voters. In addition, coalition strategy is also an important aspect in strengthening the bargaining position of the party in negotiations. In this finding, it can be concluded that the negotiation of support for the Islamic party not only involves political aspects but also the social and cultural aspects of the local community.
