Metodologi Pemahaman Al-QurÔÇÖan Perspektif Nadirsyah Hosen dalam Buku Tafsir Al-QurÔÇÖan di Medsos

Abstract

This study aims to examine the methodology of understanding the Qur'an from the perspective of Nadirsyah Hosen, as outlined in his book Tafsir Al-QurÔÇÖan di Medsos ÔÇô Mengkaji Makna dan Rahasia Ayat Suci pada Era Media Sosial (QurÔÇÖanic Interpretation on Social Media ÔÇô Exploring the Meaning and Secrets of Sacred Verses in the Social Media Era). The main issue addressed in this research is how the methodology developed by Nadirsyah Hosen responds to the challenges of religious understanding in the digital era, particularly on social media, which is saturated with diverse religious interpretations. The primary objective of this study is to explain the method of Qur'anic understanding he employs, along with its strengths and weaknesses. A qualitative approach is used, employing literature review and descriptive analysis methods. The research population focuses on Nadirsyah HosenÔÇÖs book as the primary source. The sample is selected using purposive sampling based on the relevance of content to the research objectives. Data collection is conducted through a book survey technique combined with descriptive-analytical methods by reviewing written sources such as books, scholarly articles, and relevant journals. The findings of the study indicate that in understanding the QurÔÇÖan, Nadirsyah Hosen incorporates three key components: God as the Creator, the verses as text, and the community as intelligent readers who understand context. He integrates contextual, thematic, rational, and socio-historical approaches in his interpretive methodology, adapting the Qur'an's messages to current conditions. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of a contemporary, inclusive, responsive, and communicative approach to QurÔÇÖanic interpretation that aligns with the evolving dynamics of modern times.
