In-depth Study of Bung Hatta's Economic Thought in the Pancasila and Islam Perspective

Background: Bung Hatta's economic thinking is the basis important in shaping Indonesia's post-independence economic policy. He combines elements from various traditions of economic thought, including Pancasila values and teachings Islam, to form a unique and appropriate economic paradigm with the Indonesian social and cultural context.
Purpose: This article aims to conduct an in-depth study towards Bung Hatta's economic thinking by exploring how to integrate Pancasila and Islamic values in his views form a deep theoretical and practical basis economic policy. The main objective is to explore the relevance and the uniqueness of Bung Hatta's thoughts in the context of Pancasila ideology and Islamic economic values, as well as their implications for development current Indonesian economy.
Methods: This research uses the literature study method for collect and evaluate Bung Hatta's writings related to his economic thinking, as well as analytical approaches to identify the economic principles it promotes influenced by the values of Pancasila and Islam. These data analyzed to understand how the two values are integrated influenced Bung Hatta's views on economic policy.
Results: The results of the study show that Bung's economic thinking Hatta consistently prioritized the principles of Pancasila such as social justice, economic democracy, and mutual cooperation, while continuing to pay attention to Islamic economic moral and ethical values such as distributive justice and avoidance of usury. This integration creates a solid framework for economic development sustainability that takes into account social needs and justice.
Conclusions: In the context of globalization and economic challenges modern, Bung Hatta's economic thinking which combines Pancasila and Islam remains relevant and important for economic views holistic national. This study underscores its importance maintain and apply local values in formulating economic policy, while recognizing the fundamental role of Islam in providing an ethical and moral foundation for economic development sustainability in Indonesia
