GREEN CHEMISTRY PERSPECTIVE OF HYDROXY-METHYLFURFURAL MICROWAVE-ASSISTED ORGANIC SYNTHESES

Sintesis senyawa organic dengan microwave (MAOS) ditinjau dari aspek Kimia Hijau (Green Chemistry) menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Sebuah contoh penerapan pada sintesis senyawa organik yang juga hijau yakni hidroksimetilfurfural menunjukkan kebanyakan aspek 12 prinsip Kimia Hijau terpenuhi. Hal ini diperkuat dengan perhitungan atom ekonomi dan efesiensi yang cukup memadai.
