Kontekstualisasi Epistemologi Islam Isma’il Raji al-Faruqi dan Sayyed Hussein Nasr

Islamic epistemology positions Islam as the primary focus of examination. Islamic epistemology posits that the source of knowledge and truth is Allah, while recognizing that humans, as seekers of knowledge, contribute to the process of discerning truth. Prominent Muslim intellectuals advocating for the Islamization of knowledge encompass Isma’il Raji al-Faruqi and Sayyed Hussein Nasr. Both highlight the significance of merging knowledge with Islamic values, albeit through distinct methodologies. This study seeks to examine the concept and methodologies of the islamization of knowledge as articulated by Isma'il Raji al-Faruqi and Sayyed Hossein Nasr. This study utilizes library resources and adopts a qualitative methodology, concentrating on the analysis of the integration process suggested by the researchers.
