Abstract

Effect of competence and motivation work to teacher performance: research correlational in Elementry School State Saribu Labiah Gugus V Nagari Lubuak Jantan in district Lintau Buo Utara. Based on the first observations, it was found that the teacherÔÇÖs performance is relatively low, especially in preparing teaching devices. It is presumably related to the techersÔÇÖ competence and the work motivation. This study intends to reveal the magnitude of the contribution of techersÔÇÖ competence and the work motivation of teachersÔÇÖ performance.This research intent to know contributions of the techersÔÇÖ competence and work motivation of teachersÔÇÖ performance. The three hypotheses proposed are: (1) the contribution of the teachersÔÇÖ competence of teachersÔÇÖ performance, (2) the contribution of the work motivation of teachersÔÇÖ performance, (3) contribution of techersÔÇÖ competence and work motivation collectively on the performance of the teachers.The population of this study consists of 242 country elementary school teachers in Kecamatan Lintau Buo Utara. The sample of the study consists of 47 challenged people by using system makes a killing random sampling. The data were collected with a Likert scale questionnaire that has been tested the validity and its reliable.
