Abstract

The success of education in Indonesia certainly cannot be separated from the role of scientists and scholars. There are so many scholars in Indonesia, both known and not, of course, there are many lessons and wisdom that we can take. Over time, many scholars who have contributed to Indonesia have been forgotten, even their teachings and participation are often ignored. Therefore, we as students should not forget their services. In fact, we must be more active in continuing their vision and mission. In this discussion, we will try to explain a little biography and participation of Islamic Education Figures in crossing Indonesia from ignorance, namely K.H. Hasyim AsyariÔÇÖs Thoughts on Islamic Education. The essence of K.H. Hasyim AsyariÔÇÖs thinking is about the virtues of science and the virtues of teaching, ethics that must be considered in teaching and learning, the ethics of a student towards teachers, student ethics towards lessons, ethics that must be guided by teachers, teacher ethics when teaching, teacher ethics towards his students and ethics towards books.
