Implementation of 4C Competencies in Improving the Quality of Santri Learning in Fiqh Learning with the Study of the Book of Fathul Qorib at Tapak Sunan Islamic Boarding School

This research aims to find out the implementation of competencies (4C), namely Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication in Fikih learning at Madrasah Islamiyah Salafiyah Tapak Sunan. With a case study-based qualitative method, this research observed how learning schemes such as delivery of material by teachers through recitation, syawir or group discussion, sorogan in front of the class, Fikih-based projects, and Q&A sessions in debates were applied to develop students' skills. The results show that the implementation of competencies (4C) has a positive effect in improving the quality of santri learning with critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills while increasing the relevance of Jurisprudence learning to the challenges of the modern era. Although there are challenges such as time constraints and lack of book literacy, efforts to maintain this method such as providing materials to teachers and adapting learning schemes are able to optimize implementation. This study provides recommendations for implementing (4C) competencies into the learning process and the importance of systematic evaluation to assess its success.
