The study of history in an Islamic perspective is a study of the position and urgency of history in Islam. Alqur'an which is a guideline of Muslims implied atapun expressly describe the stories and important events in it either clearly or in the form of generalization. The method used is qualitative method with Descriptive Analysis approach, which is to analyze in depth the sources relevant to the theme of the article. With the finding that history is very important in Islam, one of the letters in the Qur'an specifically discusses the history of surah qashash. History that has three important elements, namely time, man and events turned out to be an important position in the Quran
