This study investigates the application of transformational leadership in enhancing the professional commitment of early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in Serpong sub-district, South Tangerang City. Transformational leadership emphasizes inspiring, motivating, and empowering individuals to exceed initial expectations. The research was conducted in five PAUD institutions-SPS PAUD Rumah Main Cikal, PAUD Al Muttaqin, PAUD Harapan Jaya, PAUD Kasih Ibu, and PAUD Nusa Indah-selected for their diverse organizational structures and common challenges in resource management and educational quality improvement. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews and observations involving principals and teachers. The findings indicate that principals consistently applied transformational leadership principles, including setting a clear vision, providing personal support, and fostering intrinsic motivation. Teachers reported increased engagement and motivation as principals actively facilitated professional development through training and workshops. Additionally, the flexibility to experiment with new teaching methods enhanced creativity and job satisfaction. Despite these positive outcomes, challenges such as resistance from long-serving teachers and limited resources were identified. These issues were addressed through persuasive communication and the strategic optimization of available resources. This study underscores the critical role of transformational leadership in strengthening teacher commitment and improving educational quality. The findings offer practical insights for school leaders aiming to implement effective leadership strategies in early childhood education settings.
