PENGARUH BUDAYA DAN AGAMA TERHADAP KEADILAN GENDER : PERSPEKTIF KONTEMPORER

Budaya dan agama memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk nilai, norma dan pandangan terkait peran dan status gender dalam masyarakat. Ditinjau dari perspektif kontemporer, pengaruh budaya dan agama terhadapa keadilan gender sangat kompleks dan juga beragam. Budaya dapat mempengaruhi kesetaraan gender dengan memperkuat pandangan dan penilaian gender yang tidak setara antara pria dan wanita. Agama juga memainkan peran penting terhadap keadilan gender pada perspektif kontemporer. Interpretasi dan praktik agama tertentu dapat memperkuat norma dan peran gender yang tidak setara. Ada beberapa agama yang memiliki aturan dan tradisi yang memberikan kekuasaan pria lebih tinggi daripada wanita dalam struktur sosial dan juga agama. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memahami tentang bagaimana pengaruh budaya dan agama terhadap keadilan gender pada perspektif kontemporer. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif berorientasi eksploratif yang berusaha menganalisis masalah penelitian dari sumber bacaan dengan menerapkan analisis isi. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif untuk mengkaji hasil penelitian terdahulu dan untuk menginterpretasikan suatu fenomena secara ilmiah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik dokumentasi dari berbagai jurnal, prosiding, berita online, dan buku-buku yang relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya pemahamana yang lebih baik tentang pengaruh budaya dan agama terhadap keadilan gender dalam perpesktif kontemporer. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwa dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik dalam pengaruh budaya dan agama ini akan dapat membangun masyarakat yang lebih inklusif dan setara antar semua individu, tanpa memandang gender. Keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah ketersediaan data untuk menganalisis bagaimana budaya dan agama dalam mempengaruhi keadilan gender. Harapan peneliti terhadap peniliti selanjutnya agar lebih bisa mengembangkan dan menjelaskan secara rinci dan detail tentang bagaimana pengaruh budaya dan agama terhadap keadilan gender dalam perpekstif kontemporer.
