Implementation of Religious Moderation in the Digital Era for IAIN Batusangkar Students

The Ministry of Religion provides a policy that educational institutions understand religious moderation which invites people to have a moderate, non-extreme religion and be free to think without limits. The aim of this research is to find out how IAIN Batusangkar students respond to implementing the values of religious moderation for student self-control. The method used in this research is qualitative to understand and dig deeper into religious moderation using observation, interviews and FGD techniques. This research uses Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions which are strengthened by ensuring the validity of existing data using triangulation techniques. The research conducted shows that there has been an internalization of the values of religious moderation in increasing student self-control which was carried out through FGDs, seminars, and training at IAIN Batusangkar for students and lecturers.
